| The continued political existence of
the Neo cons and G.W Bush is now at
a point of serious doubt. The lies from
the conservative right are more than anyone with any common sense can
tollerate. The outing of Valerie Plame
has been trivialized by the U.S media
to the exasperated point that it is now competing for media attention with the best over the counter drug for migrane headaches. For my international readers please be aware that the U.S news media is a complete and utter wasteland of inept white washing for the Bush Administration. Intelligent Americans conservative and Liberal believe nothing printed or broadcasted from any American news source. We know that all is censored or edited for sensationalism and political spin. There are no legitimate mainstream news sources. All have been compromised by the intelligence services or corporate and government payoffs. I have never witnessed in my lifetime a more debased and irrelevant national news media. In researching articles for my radio and television programs I have come to depend almost entirely on the foreign independent presses for accurate reporting. Americans in the 60's and 70's would laugh at PRAVDA for being a state controled newspaper. We now laugh at the NewYork Times and Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post in the same way. Less than 28 percent of all Americans listen to any of the major networks, CBS,NBC or ABC for their news coverage. They are well aware of the uselessness of these media outlets. They would rather tune into the mindless reality shows for a brain numbing effect instead of being deceived by the hair sprayed news anchor men and women or their affilated surrogates. Who can you believe? Believe yourself, believe that gut feeling you get when you know someone is lying to you. When a used car salesman tries to sell you a junker, or a politician promises you he or she will never compromise on the major issues they are campaigning on. It is a farce created by a surrealist's dementia when a country's citizens know they can not believe anyone in the media but must force themselves to accept what they are being told as the truth. This is what Americans are enduring daily and can not wrench themselves clear of the effect. It is a toxin in the air we breath and food we eat. Water we drink. A great lie in the schools of higher learning. An unending play of bad acting and pathetic writing and each continued performance is worse than the previous. May the rest of the world save the U.S from itself in time to save its people from total madness and to save the world from U.S domination. L.A. STEEL |
